After our visit in Benin we took advantage for a quick study trip in Togo on our way home. We met with Jerome Satro, a guide for the ecotourism association A DE TOP. A DE TOP is an association created for protecting the local environment by promoting the exceptional area around Kpalimé using ecotourism. We had an opportunity to exchange thoughts and ideas about best practices in this sector and learned much about potential difficulties that could be met including financial needs and even moral injustice.
